Body done and ready for engraving!
Body etched and did my first dye with waterborne wood dyes. Looks great but you have to move fast! Use water instead of alcohol if you're just starting.....not like this dummy!
Experimenting with paints and dyes that react under UV light for added 'pop'! Looks dull in daylight but....
....it glows like crazy under black/blue light. Bonus feature....the horse's skull glows green in the dark!
Was hoping to stuff the 9V into the control cavity but the guitar gods said "the hell you are!" Hate running a router on a finished guitar but....
...it totally worked and came out nice! Now feeding the EMG's will be a breeze and no unscrewing plates.
DId a nice pearloid inlay with a blue resin center for the headstock. Also created this aggressively pointed shape to stand out from the rest.
And of course, it glows. Everything around here does. Kinda my thing.
So we know what this was if it's found by future civilizations. Fingers crossed!
Didn't make these for the guitar but they should match nicely.
Did I mention a lot of this shit glows in the dark?
Damn you Amazon! Ordered a clear pickup ring that in no way fit the EMG T single coils so I had to machine one myself. Made a mold so more can be made!
Feel like I'm repeating myself here but this shit will look awesome walking out onto a dark stage!
LIT True Blue side dot markers in action.
Rear bottle opener lit up
Custom neck plate to make this thing look like its charged with ethereal, spooky energy.
Almost there. Just needs a final setup and awaiting Graph Tech TUSQ saddles and the hot-roddification will be complete.
